Kevin is super nice. He also prepared snacks, coffee and a souvenir pen to welcome us. The room was very clean and big. There was a grassy area behind the house where you could see horses and donkeys. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, I woke up with a very sore back and aching shoulders which I still feel two days later. The pillows were the opposite, too soft compared to the mattress. The tap in the shower/bath was held in the off position by elastic bands otherwise it was constantly dripping. There is rarely someone at reception and even standing there and ringing the bell for ten minutes didn’t have anyone show. One of my items went missing after the room was cleaned, cleaning staff were friendly and apologetic, but I did not get the item back as they didn’t recall seeing it. The walls were paper thin and could hear people loudly walking around the halls late at night, even past midnight - definitely wear earplugs. You can’t open the windows so it got a bit stuffy in the room. There were water stains down the wall under the windows - which is maybe why they don’t let you open them now? The pub food was average, decent prices but nothing to tempt me to come back - especially since there are so many food places nearby

Reasonably quiet and peaceful for a central location .

Intrusive attitude of the owner who used the door camera to check on numbers on arrival and jumped to conclusions . No heating for the first night. Phone calls had to be made the next day to get the central heating put on . Why it was turned off on a freezing April month , I have no idea .
