“If I only got to say one thing it would be; book your stay now! Luckily I get to write a bit more. We were welcomed with a warm smile in this cold part of Sri Lanka. We didn't have anything planned but our host had very good recommendations (even for our next stay in Ella) which made our stay wonderfull! The room was clean, big and looked amazing. In the evening we both got a warm water bottle to keep warm in bed. And in the morning at 05:00, when we visited Worlds End, they gave us a breakfast package for on the road. Suggest spending at least 2 days there and also know this if backpacking/travelling with a driver. Don't be fooled by the seemingly long distance from the city centre; it's actually quite close (5/10 minutes through a shortcut) and what it loses in proximity to the centre it gains in tranquility and views. Plus, the staff will always be happy to guide you and to draw maps for you.”

“I am still pretty much speechless... This is by far the best stay in Srilanka till now and we haven't had really bad ones till now. Amazing room, really nice host. Asked for dinner and we got an answer if rice/curry would be ok - offcourse it would be, but we got so delicious dinner, that we are still sorry we only stayed there for one night and dinner was really, I mean really cheap!. 5 minutes walk to the center, but location is sooooo peaceful, like you are kilometeres away from center. Oh, and breakfast is fantastic, our boy even got orange juice at it, which wasn't the case in any other room, apartment we stayed since begining of our trip. Thank you for an excellent stay!”

“This place is an adorable home stay. It is run by a beautiful couple who will go out of their way just to make sure you have a pleasure able stay. We had many chats and conversation about life and got to know these people and we feel blessed. This is not a party house, breakfast is great you never leave hungry! If you want dinner you can have it at only a small cost. Nanda is a fantastic cook and Cheis knows all things there is to know about Nuwara Eliya! Great view from top floor of the tea garden too! Rooms are basic but just what you need and very clean and if you need washing done they will do it for you. Ask about their garden as they grow a lot of things themselves!”

The host helped us to arrange a tour to the Horton Plain in a van in the first morning at 5.00 a.m. Our lovely host lady prepared us a nice breakfast, with sandwiches and fruits, which we had later at the World's End. With stunning view, superb!! The lunch prepared by the host and her daughter is fabulous as well!”
