“The owners are very warm and open, it was so nice to get to know them and feel at home in their home. I came to be by myself, for two nights from Tokyo, but ended up meeting some other travellers and waking up early to see the sunrise view of Mt. Fuji with them. I feel like those moments are made possible by the warm and cosy Murabito Guesthouse. Thank you for a wonderful experience!”
“Good continental break first
Good table and chair at the break first site
Beautiful garden
BBQ site in the garden wa convenient, with filled with necessary equipment.
10 minutes walk to the supermarket nearby, so called FOREST MALL.”
“Staff was very helpful and gave great recommendation. They were able to communicate in English well. Also, you can rent bicycles from the hotel at a cheaper rate”
“Old Japanese house in the middle of the countryside, so very quiet and soothing. Hiro was a great host, and the facilities are very comfortable and complete, with kitchen, lobby, bike rental, etc. Well situated and clean.”
“The futon is very comfy and the house is decorated in traditional Japanese style. The host Mr. Iwaki was also very kind and helpful all the time. I would love to stay here next time.”
“This is essentially a traditional Japanese guesthouse with a few modern twists. The staff are extremely welcoming and considerate. The rooms are basic but nicely organised and comfortable. The location is excellent, very close walking distance to the bus/train station, lake and the various restaurants around town.”
“Potentially the best hostel we’ve ever visited. Great location by the train station. Comfortable rooms and good kitchen/living facilities. Best of all by far is the couple who run the hostel though. Couldn’t have been more helpful at recommending what to do during our stay in Fujiyoshida. Very friendly to chat to and are genuinely interested in what your plans are. They even gave us a little souvenir upon leaving to thank us for staying. We were also provided with free use of some bikes which were a great way to explore the town. For anyone who likes Studio Ghibli there’s also plenty of pictures and memorabilia to find around the hostel.”
“Spacious room and really friendly hosts! They recommended some restaurants in the area and attractions on a map to help us navigate the area.
Although the location is a bit far, we didn't mind the walk over from a nearby train station as we enjoyed clear views of Mt. Fuji on our way. Super grateful for the ride to the bus-stop after checking out!”
