  • Hotel Prana Beach Review score: 7

“You are situated directly at the beach with Cristal clear water. The staff is very nice and uncomplicated. The transfer works really well. There are nice trips offered.”

  • Hostal Casa de las Americas Review score: 10

“Definitely a guest house and not a hostel, but David was so lovely for the entire stay and really went out of his way to look after all the guests. He even hailed and haggled with a taxi for me when I was checking out and going to the bus service. A very sweet man with a heart of gold. Room was clean and comfortable, and the place is on a super quiet street right in the heart of the action in Getsemani. Would recommend if you want a quiet stay, not a social hostel vibe.”

  • Hotel Casona del Porvenir Review score: 10

“The room is tastefully decorated with style and has many nice features. Bathroom comes with japanese toilet and a nice shower. bathroom and room have some really nice wooden fans on the roof, but there is alsa an AC. Very nice patio with tropical plants. Once you enter the hotel, the noise, heat (and dirt) from the street is left behind. This is a place to relax and recharge your batteries. Staff is very nice, helpful and responsive, from check in to barmen and room service staff. You can choose the Breakfast from the menu, and it was really excellent. On check out day the hotel was preparing for a wedding so no late check out was possible, but they offered me to use the shower in the spa of a partner hotel only 20 m away (for free) which was really great. They provide free filtered water (in many other Colombian hotels you have to pay for the water). There is a small pool at the rooftop, enough to cool down in the tropical heat. There is a lot of electronics to manage the AC, curtain etc. This is OK, but might be a challenge for more senor people. Some guests didn't like that the rooms dont' have windows to the outside but only to the patio gallery. I didn't find that a problem, with that much sun and heat outside you get a cosy place to retreat in your room. But yeah, there is no "view". In the second floor they have a nicely decorated library. As of May 2024 there was a construction site in front of the hotel, they were digging up the road. Surprisingly you didn't notice that when inside the hotel.”

  • Casa Del Tejadillo Review score: 8

“Strong air conditioning (which is needed in this city) Good breakfast Good shower Lots of storage space but not as in cardboard space but lots of ledgers Complex security was good Working mini fridge although old Great medium size pool Lots of electrical outlets Was very quiet and had good sleeps Beautiful looking apartment with high ceilings 10 /15 min walk to anywhere within the walled city Staff were pleasant and helpful and went out of their way to communicate with me in English through translator app since I couldn't speak Spanish”

  • Casa Moraira Review score: 9

“Brilliant location right in the heart of the city but oh so quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff. Apart from all the obvious places to visit we liked Manga. Manga is not far to walk to, it's lovely in the early evening to walk along the seafront and has some fabulous and reasonable choices to eat. It's really geared towards locals so not that touristy. The Club nautica is fab for a drink overlooking the sea .”

  • Hotel Boutique Casa Isabel Review score: 10

“Amzing breakfast and nice rooftop with Jacuzzi! Really loved it”

  • “This is a delightful, relaxing home from home. Leandra (owner), Rodrigo, and the lady who made our tasty breakfast, were all genuinely lovely, caring and attentive. The place is beautifully designed, clean and very comfortable. There's a terrific roof terrace with sun loungers and hammocks. It's right next to the beach, so you can walk out wearing your swimming gear, with no footwear on, and go straight into the warm, Caribbean water. If you would like to cook for yourself, there's a well-equipped, shared kitchen, which you can use to make lunches and dinners. There's a small fridge, and a TV with Netflix in the bedroom. You can get a cheap bus on the beach to go to a local supermarket or to go into the city. We were glad we decided to stay here rather than somewhere in the city centre.”
