The staff was very hospitable. Breakfasts are quite tasty and a good choice of food. Let's go back here again, if only for the hotel)”

And yes the picture from the hotel roof over viewing the Acropolis Hill& Parthenon is very true!! It is that close!! You can enjoy the marvelous view while having your breakfast in the morning, or trying their wonderful Margarita Pizza, or even just a drink, while listening to beautiful traditional Greek music. Staff was very friendly, we had lots of valuable advices on sightseing and places to visit. “Everything was amazing, location, staff and cleanliness. We preferred the location, which is not really in the city center, but easily accessible, safe and much pleasant than the city center. There is a police station right in front of the building,which made us feel safer. Our Budget room was always clean, service everyday, very comfortable bed. I have nothing to complain about. Towel, soap and shampoo provided, hair dryer as well. Staff was friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage after check out as long as we wanted (even couple of days:-) ) 24 hours reception was also useful. We highly recommand this hotel!!”

“Absolutely brilliant Hotel for many reasons. First of all the lady on reception provided an excellent and friendly service and really couldn't be more helpful and was always available if we required anything during our time at the hotel. We arrived two and half hours early prior to the official check in time and yet we were given our room straight away without any trouble at all. Secondly the hotel is in a great location - 5 minutes walk from Monastiraki metro station, shops, bars, etc and 10 minutes from the acropolis. It is very central to everything you need for your trip to Athens and also in a very safe area too as I did not have any problems walking around at all. The room was lovely, very clean, very spacious and also very nice and cool with the free air conditioning that is included in the price. The bathroom was equally as clean and spacious. Just around the corner is a host of nice bars, bakeries and places to relax and eat and drink after a long days sightseeing. The wi-fi is also free of charge and is of very good quality with no dropping of connection. Finally there is a great baggage storage facility at the hotel so that you can leave your bags once you have checked out of your room until you are ready to depart from Athens - we found this very handy as we were flying later in the evening so it was nice not to have to carry bags with us all day. This hotel was great and excellent value for money. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Athens and would recommend it for anybody who wants to visit the city. Thank you to Hotel Athinaikon and to the lovely lady on reception who made our visit very comfortable indeed. We had an excellent stay!!!!!”

The friendly, sincere and helpful staff made us feel immediately welcome. The location is a short 5 - 15 minute walk from the Acropolis, Ancient Agora, restaurants and many key sites in Athens, yet the side street location resulted in a quiet stay. We stayed at the O&B at the beginning and again at the end of our trip. Room #19, the Grand Superior, was exceptionally quiet and spacious for the 3 of us while Room #22, the Acropolis Jr Suite on the top floor was bright and had remarkable views of the Parthenon from a nice private deck. The buffet breakfast was high quality and the rooms were very contemporary, comfortable and clean. I can't say enough good things about this boutique hotel.”

They also organized breakfast early next day because we had to leave to our flight. Location is perfect, in Plaka, near Acropolis and near Sintagma (walking distance). The towels were changed daily and each time were packed in plastic. The staff was very friendly and always offered support with anything. The hotel is located very close to the center of Glyfada and also there are tram or bus stops close to the hotel (tram 3 or 5 - ticket price : 1,4 euro). Also in front of the hotel there are bus station to the airport express line or to the Port of Piraeus (x96 -ticket price : 6 euro). There are many beaches nearby. I liked and akanus(tram station - ZEFIROS) and balux(voula) beaches. Many restaurants and shops also in this area - center of Glyfada.”

“This was my first ever hostel experience (since then, I have stayed in many many many hostels) and I can vouch for this one being the best by far. So first, practically, the hostel is in a good neighbourhood in a quiet street and really not far from anything. The rooms are fantastic, clean, lockers are provided with keys as well as breakfast in the mornings and lots of guidance if you should ask for it. Yes, there are power points and nightlamps and reliable wi-fi. Nitty-gritty aside, the reason why I would return to stay here for a good long while would be the staff. Eva and Hati were beyond friendly and extremely helpful. They know the city and they make for the most interesting discussions. Their kindness knows no limit and they will go beyond the necessary to make your stay one to remember.”
