The room we had was a large studio and included all that you may need during your stay (especially we were really expressed by the kitchen which included everything: fridge, kettle, stove, blender, microvawe, cofeemaker and all the stuff! Even a washing machine, an iron and dishwasher!!). All was clean and really nice looking! No sounds from the street. The beach is on the other side of the road, towels and sunbeds are free. The nearest shop is about 2 blocks down Collins avenue. The best place to eat is about 3 blocks down the same way in Croydon hotel. We are not lazy so we used a boardwalk to get to the most crowded and full of clubs, restaurants, shops and nightlife part of Miami beach - the South beach and so-called Art Deco district (about 1 mile). The others may take a bus (it's cheap).”

They provide you with towels - great detail for a hostel. Very easy to come from the airport by bus (stop is just around the corner). Walking distance to the beach, Lincoln Road (commercial road) and all the main attractions in South Beach. The only detail: the breakfast is a little bit poor (a banana, one yogurt and a juice but unlimited coffee) - BUT it is complimentary so no chance to complain! “Everything about this place was exactly what my friends and I were looking for when we were trying to find a place for our spring break trip. The building seemed as though it was brand new and was extremely clean. It was affordable, within a 10 minute walk to all types of restaurants and bars, and to the beach. Our favorite part about the place was it felt like we were just living in our own private apartments down in Miami Beach even though we were provided all the amenities you would expect from most hotels, and although we did not choose to do so you are given the option to have your unit cleaned on a daily basis from a small fee. We went down to Miami as a group of 12 and booked two units, each unit providing the perfect amount space for 6 people, especially considering the fact that two extra mattresses were provided. Management was extremely helpful and friendly. The View of the Canal from the canal side balcony was a great view to wake up to in the morning and the pool area was very nice as well. MB On The Canal is a great place to stay if you are looking for a pristine, modern home away from home. When we get the chance to go back down to Miami, we will definitely be booking again.”

Beautiful art deco and overlooking the pool, ocean side. I felt safer at this hotel than the Studios. Lovely bathroom too. Bebe the front door super woman was and is a star! What an asset she is to the hotel. She really did care for my comfort. All the staff were super nice. The manager could've been a bit more friendly. Location was great. Handy shops walking distance. Boutiques nearby too. Such a gorgeous area. Lots of beautiful buildings to look at. You can access the Richmond Beach via the pool garden. I'd defo go back to the Richmond on Collins.”

There is everything you need: kitchen, dishes, microwave, etc. There is always a parking place available either in front or in the back of the building. 5 min walking to Collins ave, 10 min to the beach. Check-in/check-out procedure really easy, the key is in a locker with a code next to the door, you can arrive whenever you want. I would stay there again any time.”

We were never threatened nor fell unsafe all hours of the day or night, including a walkabout at 3.00 am when we arrived due to our time difference i.e. 12 hours ... loved the art deco building and the fun bars in the immediate area... The pool is great to unwind in after a day or touring etc and the afternoon happy hour drinks were a bonus and a fun way to see and meet other hotel customers and travellers .. Highly recommend the happy hour pool sessions... Great place to view the beach and look onto Ocean Drive while having cocktails etc... Also the pool area is a great place to watch the sunrise in the early morning peace and quiet before the day starts on Ocean Drive... If pubbing and drinking in a close convenient hotel albeit with the associated noise... is what you need, this hotel and its location is ideal...”

“Wonderful fab location, right on beach and on main bus route/free trolley service to see all Miami Beach Apartment was a little jaded as was the whole resort (some electric sockets and a light not working but we only reported at the end of our stay as we didn't really need them) but totally fine for our two night stay - good shower,comfy beds, plenty of storage. Even some beach chairs and tennis racquets and balls. If we were staying longer we would have liked more kitchen facilities, being British a kettle definitely! Overall a great base for exploring all of Miami Beach.”

“The property was well located, close to lots of local amenities and public transport links. It was absolutely spotless upon check in, which we were allowed to check in early for! Helene was amazing! Gave us lots of tips about places to go and things to do and even put up a poster to inform guests of where the New Year's Eve fireworks could be viewed from. There were 2 bedrooms in the apartment we stayed in and 2 bathrooms. Great size! And fab views - both out the front and back of the property.”
