    “The place is located at the end of a dead-end so very quiet, the view is breathtaking, the staff speaks English and is very helpful. It is run by a family and you can feel the nice warm atmosphere. You are at a walking distance from the river and can take a 5 min ferry boat to Yangshuo center. we rented 2 family rooms, as we stayed with our 4 kids and my parents. we all love the place and how nice and helpful the staff was. thank you, we will definitely recommend this place to our friends.”

    “The location is very close to bus stops from either Guilin West or North train stations. It is also within walking distance to a few major sites. Some buses also stop close to the sites, for $2 Chinese Yuan per person, it is a very good deal. Need to have exact change for the bus ride. Some older bus do not have the means for electronic payment. We stayed in two different rooms, River view with tatami and deluxe family room. Both were very good rooms, excellent water pressure and rain shower was a delight! The room facing the River was a bit noisy during early evening but was not a problem later in the night, when all activities in the nearby park finished and participants dispersed. The deluxe family room, which was facing the inner alley, was very quiet. We did not have breakfast included with the room, but nearby are eateries and a very good bakery. A supermarket is also nearby. We also appreciate the excellent and thorough information provided by the hotel regarding how to get to the hotel from whatever mode of transportation one is taking.”

    “We liked everything! The hotel is in an ancient village of Lujiacun, a bit far from the city centre but provides a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere for guests to relax in after a busy day of exploring. Starting from our arrival all the way to our reluctant departure, hotel staff treated us like VIPs. Maggie was waiting for us at the roadside, with umbrellas since it was drizzling a bit, and walked with us to the hotel. She helped carry our heavy backpacks up (no elevators) to our second floor room as well, which was much appreciated. A fruit platter and tea was served as a welcome treat. We enjoyed the various breakfast options offered, which was made fresh, every morning. Hai-Yan, the other lady whom we met as well, gave us pointers on sites to visit. She walked with us to the beginning of a walking trail to Reed Flute Caves to ensure that we embarked on the right trail for the walk. Everything we needed, they tried their best to help. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a very relaxing stay. It is very quiet at night, and close by is a restaurant where one can try local dishes. Also small street eateries are available around the village during the day. It is a bit far from the city center but a taxi ride will get you there in 15 minutes. Staff can arrange taxi or any excursion for their guests as well.”

    “Great location! Many things walkable. Pedestrian street with nice bars and restaurants are also very nearby! Convenient store right next to hotel. Room was very clean, also lobby etc. a huge huge extra big thank you to Lily! She helped me to organize a driver, taxis and tickets etc. thanks for everything again Lily ❤️”

    “Boutique hotel with excellent hospitality. Clean and comfortable and location was good. Note that all rooms are Japanese tatami type and therefore low mattress on the raised floor. Unfortunately, my Dad had a knee problem so getting on and off the low bed was an issue for him. Otherwise, the hotel was very good with a local vibe. Get a higher floor room with a view. Worth it. Nothing to see on the lower levels.”

    “Beautiful hostel in Ping’an village. Very clean. Just need to walk few minutes to be in the rice fields. 1h by foot to go to Longji and 4h to go to Dazhai (other villages). Home made meals were delicious (with local rice!). Host was also kind and she speak english.”
