    “The room was spacious, clean and peaceful, the view was spectacular, you feel 100% freedom. Really enjoyed the everything including the perfect dinner and continental breakfast. The staff (Antoniette) and management were always helpful. We stayed only for a night but wished we could have stayed longer. We took some photos with zebras.”

    “We simply loved this lodge and our stay here!😍 We actually liked it so much that we extended it by another night. The rooms are beautiful with direct views onto the river where you can spot different animals walking by. But the best thing about this lodge is the people who work here! First and foremost, Johan and his wife Adelina, who are the managers - they are around 24/7 for any queries you might have. They made sure that we felt welcome at all times and that we were enjoying our stay to the fullest! To us, it really did feel like a home away from home! 🙏The rest of the staff are also really nice and we especially loved the food! We are real foodies who eat out a lot, and the food we had here was amongst the best we had on our whole trip - the chefs are very well trained and talented! This was our first Safari, and we enjoyed it a lot. We didn't know what to expect, really, but the guides and trackers were super kind! The price per night includes two game drives of 3 hours each (one morning and one afternoon drive) and this makes it really good value for money, in our opinion. We stayed 4 nights and managed to see all of the Big 5 animals! What we also really liked is that the reserve only allows 2 vehicles per animal sighting, so you don't feel like you're intruding the natural space of the animals. Overall, this was an amazing experience. If you're looking for a unique getaway or a honeymoon-type destination, this should be it ☺️”

    “it was such a lovely place, way more beautiful than the pictures! such a nice place to relax. everything was amazing. the dog was sweet and their cat was so cuddly. super clean and nice shower too + washing facilities. we sat by the fireplace outside for hours (bring some warm clothes as the height of the area makes it very chilly in the evening) read their directions, screenshot them beforehand for if you don’t have connection! you need them. very fun to stay in a more traditional African place”
