“1. Service! As soon as you enter - everybody is super friendly, while keeping it very professional. Just like it should be. Doormen are extremely polite. Thank you! Clerks at the desk are excellent as well. They are quick and don’t ask any additional questions. Waiters in the breakfast area bring you things really fast. Cleaning ladies are also extremely good. It is rare to find a place with a service like this in Peru, and I am glad I can now count on one. 2. Clean! It is super clean. There are no weird smells in this hotel, from the lobby to the room. The room is extremely clean! 3. Spacious! The rooms are spacious. They feel more like a small apartment that has just the right vibe. The quality of the bed and everything inside is very good. It is just at that level that you feel like you are back at your place at home and you can relax immediately. 4. Quiet! Rooms have nice thick windows that keep any sound away. Believe me for Lima that is rare. 5. Breakfast! The quality of the food is really good, and there are plenty of things to eat for vegetarians such as myself. You won’t get it wrong with this hotel. “We would to thanks the front desk staff Miguel and Carlos, I just can't believe the service we have received at the Lexus hotel. since we checked in Friday evening, June the 19th.They asked me how we would like to pay, and we're just coming from Cuzco and we were very tired. I said I already paid on line on booking.com with my credit card when I made the reservation, Miguel was very polite, he said don't worry we check tomorrow, just go to your room and rest. Then, when I read my confirmation email from booking.com, it said very clearly that I need to pay at the hotel, the credit card was only to hold my reservation. I went back to the front desk with my credit card and apologized. Three days later our 8:30 AM flight was cancelled, they allowed us to stayed there without any extra charge for couple hours. Breakfast is included in the price, even though the food was the same every morning, but at least it's free.Service was outstanding at the dining room. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Miguel and Carlos for all your help. Housekeeping service was wonderful, they changed my towels every single day, no even at the Marriott or Melia hotels. The hotel location was great, walking distance to Miraflores about 15 minutes, area is safe and good places to dine. thank you!! from, Carlos and Mercedes Macres”

The food was just fabulous- we tried many delicious Peruvian dishes that were presented with enormous care and perfect to every detail. The buffet was outstanding in every way- many delicious and healthy choices - always fresh! We even tried the pool - and were delighted with its stunning tranquility. All in all, the Westin set the tone for an impeccable first trip to Lima Peru and was the perfect set up for our wonderous trip to Macchu Pichu! Please extend our thanks to your wonderful staff - the Westin Lima reigns supreme in beauty, service and warmth! We were treated like family and for that, we are extremely grateful. The concierge, Carlos, was wonderful. He arranged trips, cars and was kind, warm and attentive in every way. He has a busy position yet was patient and extremely professional in all that he did. “I was leary that the location would be noisy and not entirely safe but I was wrong. The hotel is on the promenade (code for no vehicle traffic...yeah!) between the Plaza de Armas and Plaza de San Martin which meant that I could easily walk to historical and cultural venues as well as have access to great shopping and night life. Yes, the street was noisy but the view from Room 206 was awesome for people watching and I felt totally emersed in Lima proper. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good except I couldn't figure out the coffee setup so I drank mine cold. I am sure someone would have gladly helped me but I was rushed for time. I loved all the little sitting areas scattered throughout the hotel, perfect for an afternoon of reading or playing my ukulele. The nearby restaurants weren't what I expected but I managed to find one across from the government building, up three, or four flights of stairs, that had a commanding view of the Plaza and changing of the guard. In the Plaza de San Martin, I found a sidewalk cafe that had great food at reasonable prices and of course, no trip to Lima would be complete without a trip to the Bolivar Hotel for an afternoon Pisco. I will def be back. Thanks Inka Path, you did not disappoint!”

The hotel is located in a beautiful arts and crafts house and it is tastefully decorated with local flavours and modern apparatus. There were so many sweet touches, such as the stylish bicycles, ideal for rides in the beautiful parks of Miraflores and San Isidro nearby or to adventure further afield in the Malecon, and the afternoon tea and cakes waiting for us after exhausting days sightseeing. They also have a cool Mini that is available to take you to restaurants and shops. The delicious breakfast is served in the veranda overlooking the small but perfectly formed garden with the sound of birds. And the cherry on the cake is this remote wifi thing that allows you to access data on your mobile phone while in Lima so you can search maps, arrange for cab pick ups, etc without spending a fortune using your mobile data abroad.
