The big patio in the back will provide you the most peaceful and chill moments, either you're having a breakfast, drinking some wine at the end of the day or just working on the computer. The staff couldn't be more helpful. I've met three of them and they always went above and beyond to help me in every way. I'm so thankful to all of them. Lastly, the breakfast by far was the best breakfast I ever received in a hostel. It's actually really hard to call it a hostel, since it felt more like a hotel thinking about the service you receive. I traveled in Latin America, Europe, and Asia but I didn't receive such good attendance, delicious and filling breakfast, and an inspirational stay. All I wished for was just to stay a bit more. Without a doubt, this hostel is one of the greatest hostels in Europe and I will be back soon for sure.”

A quick 20 minuite car journey to the apartment for a very reasonable €18 but of course we gave a generous tip! We were greeted straight away when we arrived at the apartment and the lovely and friendly lady showed us to our floor and showed us the facilities. A complimentary bottle of red wine and water was waiting for us which was a nice touch. The Porto Concierge number was left for us and they were there if we needed anything at any time, their service was excellent! We couldnt have asked for a better location, it is right in the centre! All in, was spot on and made very easy for us checking in and out.”

“We thought it strange that Belos Aires apt. had so few reviews but it turned out they only opened a couple of months ago. We took the chance and how lucky for us! Great welcome and help form owner Elisabethe. We stayed in top floor apartment Fado and Tango. So tastefully decorated, the interior was brand new, fully equipped and following the theme of music. Two balconies which open out to a stunning view across the river ( not big enough to sit out on) On the topfloor a quaint bedroom with direct access to a small balcony with café style table and chairs looking over Palacio da Bolsa, the Dome and river - stunning! Bathroom is not very large but with all you need. Yes, there is some traffic noise at night, but then you are right in the center, a superb location. They offer buffet breakfast at a most reasonable price (5 euro while we were there), so we did not bother about using our kitchen very much! AND be sure to book a table at their restaurant “BELOS AIRES” just round the corner for a dinner one evening – what a tasteful and delightful dinner, great wine and such perfect and friendly service. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next evening! Although their credit card machine is not always functioning they go out of their way to fix this problem – but bring cash just in case. Thank you for a perfect stay and thanks also to Aylene for wonderful and thoughtful service. We will most certainly book with you again!”

The surrounding area is the fashion district and very relaxed and quiet, which was great for destressing. Lots of privacy and good sound proofing. There were 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms which is always an asset. My flight ended up being significantly delayed and the host allowed me to have a late check out until 4pm due to these circumstances. Communication with the host was easy. Public transit to the historic centre was easy and direct, usually took roughly 20-30 minutes but the drive was along the picturesque waterfront.”
