If you want to explore the Island by scooter (strongly recommended), you can easily rent one at Damara for a good price. If you choose to go surfing, snorkling, scuba diving etc. , you can also ask the staff to help out, or even arrange that for you. If you don't want to leave the pool, but still want a drink or something to eat, the kitchen is always open! So, in short; we highly recommend Damara Lembongan, when you go to the beautifull Island Lembongan! From Ubud a special thank you to Mrs. Ni Made Darmi, Maclir and the staff! All the best to you!”

Everything was soo nice and perfect. It is off the main road but this makes it easy to find and easy to get around. They rented us good mopeds for a good price. The staff were lovely and helpful! We told them it was out honeymoon and they decorated the room so nicely and bought us a surprise gift!!! We loved everything about this place. It was walking distance to mushroom beach/ all the bars and restaurants in that area and dream beach. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. The price was such good value for money it almost makes no sense! There are only 4-6 rooms so the pool area was never too busy, never too much noise. This was perfection! Thank you!!!”

“Located on the hillside facing Nusa Ceningan on the east side of Nusa Lembongan, D.Mas Huts is ideally located – far away from the tourist frenzy at dream, mushroom and Jungutbatu beaches and with spectacular views, mainly of Nusa Ceningan and the water between it and Nusa Lembogan. The establishment consists of five reasonably new huts, all built to a high standard using quality fittings – the beds are brand new and very comfortable. Other than the excellent huts, the main drawing cards of the establishment are the spectacular sunrises that can be viewed, the pool (and its amazing views), and the restaurant with its scrumptious food. The staff is also very friendly and extremely accommodating – it feels like spending time with relatives. Although I am not an early riser, I was up at 6.15am every morning to experience the sunrises, which take place straight in front of D.Mas. The sunrise can obviously also be enjoyed from the pool, but it was a bit too early for that : ). The pool and its deck was a great place to just hang-out during the day time – we spent whole days there just ordering drinks and foods and just chilling. The restaurant serves amazing food. Danny – the owner – is a chef by training and serves up some amazing dishes, which includes everything from a nasi goreng, to fish and chips, to spaghetti carbonara, and everything in between; they even have a tapas menu. We tried a bit of everything and enjoyed every single meal! It is a bit out of the way, and the some stretches of the road there are quite rough. However, I did not see this as a disadvantage but rather an advantage – it made the whole stay feel a bit more exclusive, if you like. 5-stars from me!”

“Sammada is a new hotel and parts of it are not quite finished. However the accommodation block is fully finished and it is wonderful! I am a really keen swimmer and the two enormous pools on site are to die for! There is a pool on the beach front, which is pretty busy between 10 and 4 with day trippers. Outside of that time it's usually empty. Then there is a separate pool in front of the accommodation rooms, which is private and only for resident guests. I usually had this enormous pool all the myself! Breakfast was delicious every morning with lots of choice and generous servings. But honestly, the thing that stood out the most for my husband and I was the incredible hospitality, kindness and service from all of the staff. By the time we left we felt we had made a dozen new friends. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone... from the security guard up to the manager. I predict this place will go from strength to strength and in time you just wont be able to get in! Thanks for a wonderful stay Sammada and all your lovely staff.”

The beds were super comfy, the villa is amazing - the best accommodation I have stayed in. I just loved it. We had lunch on the way around the island using scooters we rented from the villa. We had dinner "at home" in the villa cooked by the chef - prawns, aromatic fish curry, beautiful vegetables - superb food. The owner of the villa lives nearby and gives a great welcome and explains where everything is but doesn't get under your feet at all and is not near enough to bother you but close enough if you need something. We were given a mobile phone with credit on it and the owners number installed so we could call any time. Totally recommend this place but stay more than a day”

“These people were simply amazing. If you are looking for the best value on the island with wonderful people to look after you, you can't go past D'Licks. It is only a short walk to the main road, BRI ATM, Drug store and hospital. The room was nice, shower was great, food was very nice with a reasonable selection for a small resort (please don't expect as many choices as a high level restaurant). I particularly enjoyed the poached eggs and fruit most mornings. We stayed for 10 days and it was very economical, especially with the very reasonably priced food. The area was very nicely quiet and everything was kept clean. The owners are just amazing people who speak very good English and try to do whatever they can to make you comfortable and welcome. I was so sad to leave.”

“The owner and his brother run the place. They are highly energetic and super helpful. They'll personally escort you wherever you want to go in town, like a diving centre or the only ATM here. The rooms are very clean and the AC works well, the toilet is nice and the shower gets very hot. We stayed here for 5 days and had a great time. They also have brand new scooters for 75k rph a day, while the normal charge here is 20k/h or 20k for a round trip to a location. Great value for money/the best owners/great island. Definitely the place to stay here. Location also great, right next to the harbour.”

“Will be deffinantly coming back. Very friendly staff. Warm and welcoming. Tucked away in a quiet alley way, which is peaceful and surrounded by a beautiful garden. But still in a great location only a 3 minute walk to mushroom beach and a 2 minute walk to food, shops and bars. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was big and cozy, with a pretty bathroom attached. Universal plugs in the walls came in handy. They also rent out motor bikes for cheap and have food options available. The staff were so helpful booking us our boat back to Bali.”
