“The interiors were beautiful, very clean and classic design. Our room was spacious with multiple places to lounge around and the bath was absolutely heavenly! The view was also nice and the river running by the property was lovely.”
“Even though you can tell it’s quite an old hotel, it gives a good feeling of japanese culture and experience. Definitely recommend the private onsen!”
“We booked a twin room, beds were very comfy. The balcony overlooked a green lush canyon with a small waterfall, it was beautiful. The entire set up is well thought out and the onsen incredible. The backpacker pods looked great too. We would definitely stay here too.”
“We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms had everything we need, including pyjamas and all toiletries. Highly recommend!”
“Authentic and beautiful. Great personnel and services, onsen and breakfast were excellent. Real treat”
“The lady at front desk is very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The quadruple room we stayed in is spacious and comfortable. The location is right next to the station.”
“One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at.
Only a few minutes walk from the train station, make sure to use the short cut tunnel.
Great customer service.
Rooms are huge. We had an onsen on the deck with good views.
Mini bar free to use.
Meal dinner and breakfast package was good.
Free first drink at the bar.
Best hairdryer every at a hotel. We ended up buying one later on our trip in Tokyo.
You get to put on a Yukata to use at the hotel.”
“Very easy to get to from Hakone Yumoto station. Burgers at the attached restaurant were delicious. Breakfast in the room was also lovely. The onsen is bigger than it looks in the picture, two people can fit in it. Staff were brilliant, spoke excellent English, very helpful. As others have said, the photos of the place don't do it justice, it really is very pretty. Comfortable room (we had a Western style bed).”
“Beautiful resort, really warm and welcoming, finely furnished.”
