“Authentic and beautiful. Great personnel and services, onsen and breakfast were excellent. Real treat”
“The lady at front desk is very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The quadruple room we stayed in is spacious and comfortable. The location is right next to the station.”
“One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at.
Only a few minutes walk from the train station, make sure to use the short cut tunnel.
Great customer service.
Rooms are huge. We had an onsen on the deck with good views.
Mini bar free to use.
Meal dinner and breakfast package was good.
Free first drink at the bar.
Best hairdryer every at a hotel. We ended up buying one later on our trip in Tokyo.
You get to put on a Yukata to use at the hotel.”
“Very easy to get to from Hakone Yumoto station. Burgers at the attached restaurant were delicious. Breakfast in the room was also lovely. The onsen is bigger than it looks in the picture, two people can fit in it. Staff were brilliant, spoke excellent English, very helpful. As others have said, the photos of the place don't do it justice, it really is very pretty. Comfortable room (we had a Western style bed).”
“Beautiful resort, really warm and welcoming, finely furnished.”
“The onsens were INCREDIBLE. The layout of the room was great and the view was amazing. Loved the bath on the balcony, and attire they give you to wear (wish there was instructions though!!) I really wish we stayed for an extra night or two... One night wasn't enough!”
“Meals were excellent, accommodations were excellent. We enjoyed the room, private onsen, rooftop, and being able to rent a switch.”
“I cannot state it clearly enough, this place is AWESOME. The contrast between this place and the busy life in Tokyo during my trip made this place feel like heaven on earth. We even saw fireflies in the hotel garden. Can't recommend enough. Note - This place is way bigger than the pictures show.
I forgot my camera battery and my battery charger in the room when leaving, they sent it to my next hotel the day after and I got it before having to charge my camera again. Super polite and super service thank you!”
“.Very classic feeling hotel which I like. Only many stairs makes heard for old persons.”
“Staff were friendly and spoke English which made checking in very easy. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.”
