“The staff were really attentive and helpful. The patio and fire pit was a highlight which we didn't utilise enough as my partner was unwell for half of her stay. We didn't get to enjoy the upstairs lounge area also for the reason! It features a beautiful view looking west to Higashi-yama and Komo-gawa. On the whole, a beautiful hotel which we made home for a week and would seriously consider coming back to.”
“It was our second stay in this hotel. It is very close from a metro station and easy walk to train station and Gion district. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.”
“The hotel is superb and has everything to make the stay super comfortable. The staff was incredible - exceptionally helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Kabin Kyoto!”
“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was perfect for a family. The room was spacious and very Japanese. The cooking utensils were basic but all the basic spices and oils were available by the reception which was handy. One could also get toys and board games on loan. There is a big supermarket literally 2 minutes away in a mall. Kyoto station is a short walk away and one can take a train or buses to all main sights easily. We really enjoyed our week staying there.”
“Our stay at Azukiya was so lovely, the property is traditional japanese style and so charming! We had yukata in our room and we enjoyed wearing them around the room, it really added to our experience. Location is convenient and close to an underground station, but also walking to the city center and main attractions is fine. We had breakfast at Azukiya on one occasion and the food was freshly prepared for us with such care, all delicious. We really recommend Azukiya for your stay in Kyoto :)”
“The free bike rental was amazing! We spent the whole first day cycling around the city. Also the free umbrellas came in handy in the second day of torrential rain! The beds were comfortable. The shower gels etc. Were lovely quality. Very good size room for Japan. Walking distance from two train stations. Bit far from the downtown shopping part of the city.”
