“We were staying in a room on top (4th) floor, right beneath the roof - these rooms have an absolutely wonderful layout, 2-story Maisonette style with an adorable little roof terrace. The bedroom area is upstairs and facing away from the street, so it was perfectly quiet. But the street in front of the hote didn't seem very busy anyways. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the Nuremberg area, it's less then 5 min walk to Rothenburgerstr. train station, where you can catch the subway to the airport and even the suburban train to Erlangen. Unfortunately we could only stay one night this time, but this will definitely be our first choice on our next trip to Nuremberg!”

“Our host, Gabrielle, was a delight. She is personable, kind and helpful. The hotel is in an old building that has been completely renovated. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a living/kitchen area with a separate bedroom. It was wonderful to have space to spread out after 10 days on the road. The windows are insulated for sound reduction and our bedroom was on the back of the property so street sound did not disturb our sleep although the hotel is on a busy street. The bed and linens were clean, fresh and comfortable. The bountiful breakfast was great in a charming, intimate room. Gabrielle arranged a platter of fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses that was beautiful and delicious. In addition you could have to order eggs and a variety of other options. Breakfast was extra but worth it. There is on-street parking available that is reasonably close to the hotel and safe and free. Though we did not use it, there is public transportation across the street from the hotel. There is a grocery store a few blocks away and we found several nice restaurants nearby that were in easy walking distance.”

“This property is located about 20 minutes walk from the very heart of the Old Town of Nuremberg. Getting there was easy from the airport by subway. We agreed to arrive at 4 pm - but after arriving at 3 pm the owner could let us in because he was working at his office at the corner. We stayed for one night: we used a double bed and 2 sofas for the 4 of us. The bathroom was nice and clean and the next morning the left the keys inside. It seemed to be the best value after some research in Nuremberg...”
