When we missed our flight a manager phoned Thai Airways and sorted everything out and we only had to pay for name transfer, such a relief and we can't thank them enough! As I say, every member of staff was incredible, but Ta, Ray, Ti and Da are the ones we had contact with most, and would like to say a special thank-you to them for helping make our holiday and stay at Krabi Aquamarine resort and spa so special!! Nothing was too much trouble and would also help us with the Thai language we were trying to learn! Fabulous area,fabulous people and we will be back as soon as possible!!”

Everything is close - best restaurants(Tripadvisor), massaage places etc. Beach is 5 minutes walk maximum. The room was quite big with one large bed. They had also a balcony with pool view. Wifi was very good and could log in fine. They have a pool where you can cool down and swim. Breakfast was also quite OK, nothing to complain. I would like to say good words to receptionist Loh who gave good advise and helped to find a orthodontist.”

We had our kids with us who (as used to live in a cold climate) jumped into the swimming pool as the first thing they did and enjoyed their time there to the max. Of course they didn´t pay attention to the "no jumping" sign near the pool and neither did they want to listen to their parents pointing towards the sign direction :D we are talking about THE POOL and WARM water - don´t have it back home (thought the kids). Hotel staff was extremely friendly - our kids jumped and caused a bigger "tsunami" in the pool :) but the staff looked at us, took some great videos of the "best jumps" and did everything so that they would have a great time in the pool. Another super lovely gesture by the hotel was the mango tree we had an honor to plant into the ground with our names on the plate. It surely left warm, kind and lovely feeling inside us. As a greeting we had signs on our beds in our own native language saying hello :) so they had done some good homework before our arrival! We did feel very special in 8 Icon Hotel!”

During the two days that we lived there in the Villa was super clean and spacious pool. We didn't have time to try everything in the restaurant but coconut soup and chicken with cashews were delicious. I thank Paul and staff of Lux Family Villas for making our stay in Krabi so special. Tika, the owner, is so super-friendly. But be careful, the road really is not pedestrian friendly (no sidewalk), it's hard to move around unless you rent a scooter (250 baht).”

Patt and Laurence have done a great job with the place, all is thought through, rooms are spacious and quiet, with two levels, and a living room area. Swimming pool is great for first thing in the morning and a late evening swim after a beach day. The pool was big enough with ideal water temperature. Everything was clean, the garden was perfectly cared including a large area around the lake. Minibar was sufficient, and each day we received a large dose of fresh fruit. Breakfast was served each day at the time as we needed. We spent at the villa enjoyable week and I would definitely like to come back one day.”
