There were little individual size portions of spreadable meat (leberkase, taiwurst), individual packets of Nutella which I wanted to bring back home to Canada but of course I didn't due to Customs. The only downside was that there wasn't an elevator so we had to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs. The bed that seemed to be too soft was just fine. We are from Canada and do not have the individual duvets that I know people use in Germany. It felt like being back at my Oma's house when I was 10! We had a lovely stay and thank the very helpful lady who told us about the 9 hour up to 5 people using the transit for only 11.20 Euros for the day. What a great transit system too! (unlike Toronto which has a fairly undeveloped subway system for the size of the city). Thank you Leonardo Inn, Booking.com for bringing this wonderful website to our attention and for helping us choose a hotel for our needs and to the young lady at the front desk.”

“The hotel is very close to a large street and train station but the neighborhood is pleasant and quiet. The room (#6) was pleasant as well despite facing the street. The beds and bedding was nicer than I expected. Getting to the metro station could not be easier.”

With these two S ban lines you can reach Hamburg main train station in 18 minutes . “There were many halal restaurants near the hotel. It was the cheapest hotel in the area I could find, but the room was very clean. After booking, I read the reviews more carefully and regretted making the reservation. But I found better condition than those in the reviews. Some people said that their room had cigarette smells and was not clean, luckily we got a very clean one. Some also said that the staffs were not friendly or helpful, but we met helpful staff during check in. Not very friendly though..”
